The Yaesu SCF-1 Cooling Fan is a specifically designed accessory for the FTX-1 Field Head, providing effective cooling during continuous high-duty cycle transmissions, such as those used in many data modes.

When operating your FTX-1 Field with an external DC power supply, the SCF-1 easily installs onto the rear of the Field Head without the need for any tools. This allows for quick and convenient deployment when enhanced cooling is required for extended transmit periods.

The SCF-1 is also designed for easy swapping with the SBR-52LI High-Capacity Battery Pack. You can quickly detach the cooling fan and attach the battery pack (or vice versa) as your operating needs change.

Important Note: The SCF-1 Cooling Fan cannot be attached simultaneously with the SBR-52LI High-Capacity Battery Pack due to the mounting configuration on the rear of the FTX-1 Field Head.
