I’ve only gotten it installed and the basic parameters set. My eyes aren’t what they use to be so having a large color display is perfect. Easy to navigate while driving and it sounds incredible. The WiFi and Bluetooth options are fantastic. Firmware updates via WiFi is a nice touch. Using my iPhone with Repeaterbook connect was simple and fast. Couple things at this point I’ve found is the supplied bracket will not directly work with the 5100 lido mount if you choose to go the magnet route. And as expected the Icom free programming software (free) is Jurassic but works. Let’s go RT Systems and get us a programmer!

With the cost of this rig I went in Leary if it was worth it. I must say with what little time I’ve had with it I’m very impressed. A huge upgrade from my 5100 and one to grow into. Looking forward to APRS in the near future as well.
