U17971 AS IS Untested Heathkit SB-220 Vintage Linear Amplifier

This unit is being sold AS IS and has not been tested. It is in fairly good shape cosmetically and has no major cosmetic issues to note. It is pretty clean and looks good all around considering its age. This unit has not been tested in store and the working condition of this unit cannot be confirmed. This unit comes with the original manual. This amplifier was part of a large estate. It was still hooked up when we went and cleaned everything out. It has not been powered on in many years. The Heathkit SB-220, two 3-500Z, amplifier made a notable impact in the world of amateur radio when it debuted in 1975. It was the first, reasonably priced, intelligently designed, SSB-CW, HF-amplifier that was sold to the amateur radio community. SSB: 2 kW PEP, CW: 1 kW.
