This OM Power OM-2000A+ amplifier is in excellent used condition. The exterior has some very minor, hardly noticeable scratches on the very back corner of the top panel, but other than that, this unit is incredible looking. This unit is very clean, works well, and has been clearly, well taken care of. This unit's text is all intact, the connections are very nice, and the screen is clear and legible. This Amp has no issues and comes with the dust cover, power cord, and manual. On top of this, it comes with an extra Brand new, unused FU-728F Tube with a very, very minor bend on two of the cooling fins. This unit comes all within the original packaging and makes for an absolutely fantastic buy!. This amp was not used in a contest environment. 

This amp was bought new 8-14-24. New price at that time was $6349 plus tax. The new tube was bought about the same time for $1500 from OM. Prices have gone up since then. New retail at current prices is $7929 for this package plus tax and shipping

OM Power OM-2000A+ HF Plus 6 Meter 1,500W Auto Tune Linear Amplifiers (OMR-OM-2000A) features an FU-728F Ceramic Tetrode tube capable of providing stable, full legal limit all-mode output power and frequency coverage of the Amateur bands ranging from 1.8 to 29.7MHz plus 50MHz. CW ops will enjoy QSK (full break-in) with a silent T/R vacuum relay. The OM Power OM-2000A+ Amplifier features an arsenal of protection circuits that will guard against high SWR, excessive current, voltage errors, excessive temperatures and more. A mechanical safety switch provides “switch-on” blocking and protects the user from potential hazards by not allowing the amplifier to power on when the case is opened. These amplifiers are also equipped with safety devices to ensure that the output relay is not mistakenly switched under power (hot switching). Built-in Memory for faults and warnings makes troubleshooting a breeze and helps to quickly identify issues and resolve them, ensuring uninterrupted performance. With built-in Automatic Anode Current (BIAS) Adjustment, there is no need to make complicated manual adjustments after changing the tube.

The 2-speed centrifugal fan and external axial fan provides the necessary cooling of the amplifier, even during long contests. The blower is activated by switching the PA on and it is turned off when cooling is finished (approx. 1-5 min after switching off the PA depending on the temperature of the tube) and the blower working mode is programmable with up to 3 modes. As one of the most compact 1,500W+ linear amplifiers available, transporting the OM-2000A+ is made easier with an HV transformer that is removable to reduce the weight of the amplifier.

Remote operation is supported via LAN port (Ethernet) and PC program download, enhancing control of the amplifier. The user can remotely switch the amplifier ON and OFF, switch between STBY and OPERATE, switch between pre-programmed antennas, read and reset the last 20 warnings and fault messages, manually fine tuning of the PA Tune and Load, check operating parameters, selection for PC display of the amplifier screen and antenna retuning if parameters change.
