U17109 Used Kenwood TS-440S HF Transceiver 

This radio is in okay shape. The exterior has a good amount of wear and aging, as well as a dent and some scratches. This unit is also a bit dusty and has some grime built up from over the years. It looks pretty rough. It has no output power. The receive seems a little low too. The knobs all spin well, the buttons click nicely, the screen is bright, the meter is legible, and the connections are all sturdy. This radio comes with the original hand mic as well as the original power cord. Due to the issues it must be sols as is for parts or repair

The Kenwood TS-440S was designed for superior performance in the the SSB, CW, AM, FM and AFSK modes. Full and semi CW break-in is supported. The 100 memories store frequency, mode and band are are divided into ten banks of ten channels each. Memory and band scanning are both available with adjustable scanning speed. Coverage is 160 through 10 meters including the WARC bands with final input power of 200 watts SSB/CW/FM/AFSK and 110 watts AM.
