U16828 Used ICOM IC-A6 VHF Air Band Handheld Transceiver

This radio is in great condition and clean as well. This unit is in great shape and works well overall. The display backlight is working and lights up the screen well. The on-screen text is clear. All buttons and dials are fully functional and printed text is clear and readable. The audio is clear and the speaker can get fairly loud. Included with the radio is the antenna, battery, and wall adapter. Does not come inside of the original box sadly.

Product Description:

The IC-A6 features 200 memory channels (20 Ch × 10 banks) with 6 character names, NOAA marine weather channels and a dedicated 121.5MHz emergency key. The IC A6 stores the last 10 channels used and "flip-flop” buttons on the keypad lets you recall those channels easily. The side tone feature lets you hear your own voice through an external aviation headset.

The Icom IC-A6 airband radio also has an Auto Noise Limiter (ANL) for noise reduction, Tag scanning and memory bank scanning, time out timer and low battery indicator. It can be powered with the included NiMH battery pack, 6 AA alkaline batteries (requires optional alkaline battery case) or through an external DC port that can be used to both charge the radio and provide external DC power.
