    I needed a compact antenna for my new, dedicated Winlink setup. This Tram fit the bill. I have the base of the antenna at 10 feet off the ground and I can reliably connect to all of Winlink VHF gateways within 33 km of my location. I also like that this model is black. Years ago I had another model of Tram that shorted-out internally due to water damage. This one seems more solid...only time will tell. No reason not to give it 5 stars.
