The Comet GP-9 is a 2m/70cm dual band vertical base antenna. It is constructed of a three section heavy duty fiberglass radome with nonconducting ABS section connections to eliminate corrosion and help reduce stray RF, ensuring a clean radiation pattern. Like all Comet antennas, it is pre-tuned, so installation is quick and easy, just put the three sections together, tighten them up, and secure them to a mast with the supplied stainless steel brackets.
