  1. Excellent 2 Meter handheld Transceiver 5 Star Review

Posted by on 11th Jul 2015

--I purchased this radio from Main Trading Company to replace my 20 year old Kenwood TH-22AT handheld. I chose this particular model because 1. I have had great luck with my "old" Kenwood TH-22AT, 2. It has great reviews from various online Amateur Radio sites and users, and 3. The current model that I purchased (TH-K20A) VERY closely resembles my old TH-22AT in the button function, so the vast majority of programming is the exact same...just like old times.

  2. Outstanding 5 Star Review

The best portable to program manually, that is out there on the market. The reliability of Kenwood says it all. Great features and signal reports. The 5.5 watts does make a difference, compaired to the other radios. Very rugged and fits perfectly in your hand.

  3. Does all the things you would expect of a Kenwood! 5 Star Review

Easy to program manually. Easy to operate. Can
be programmed by Computer. MTC provided fast shipping. What more can a Ham Operator ask for?

  4. Great Little HT 4 Star Review

I've head this for a week and so far so good. It's got a sensitive tuner and great audio (TX audio especially). This is my first HT so I don't have much to compare it with though.
