I'm new to the ham world. Currently listening on a HT and and studying for Technician. Reception was bad inside my vehicle but I'm not ready to drill or break the bank on equipment...yet. This antenna fits the bill perfectly. Great reception in the vehicle and in my back yard when I mount on the fence. The magnet is very strong! This was very evident when I tried to place it carefully on the roof of my truck and the thud it made. No worries at highway speeds. Also, a big THANK YOU TO MTC! I ordered on a Monday and received it on Wednesday. The product met my expectations and MTC acceded on customer service!
