I been using Kenwood products from the start and had no problems. Easy programing and function operations. Fast shipping from MTC, great customer service from MTC. I now have Three of the Kenwood D710G, great for public service, emergency com, and every day communications. The APRS works great as well.

  3. What a great radio for the price 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Dec 2015

I have always enjoyed Kenwood radios and this one hasn't let me down yet. It took me 25 mins to program in a half dozen repeaters and the aprs settings. For the money and what it can do, I am in puppy dog love with it, just don't tell my wife :) It has all of the settings you need to run a mobile aprs system. Plus being a dual band, dual channel radio with crossband repeat option, this radio is wonderful!

  4. Very Satisfied with the product 5 Star Review

I am very satisfied with my experience with MTC and the Kenwood TMD-710GA. I couldn't have asked for anything more. Received in 4 days and installed and up in running the day I received it.
Some really good deals with MTC.

  5. Preferred Device For The Geeked Out Ham 5 Star Review

Posted by on 3rd Jun 2015

This device meets all the needs of a Ham that is also a digital mode geek and does not want to interface many devices and wires. Built in GPS, Built in APRS, Build in REAL TNC (Not KISS), EchoLink, FLDIGI... and much more I am not thinking of! I am excited to use the crossband repeater that also transmits ID so you can use it legally (what a concept). Am I exaggerating and saying this thing has all the bells and whistles?

I'm only a week into the device and have loved getting used to it. I have had an Kenwood TM-V7 since 1998 and I expect this radio to take me now another 15+ years.
